Do I need to download an app? ▾

Yes. Telemedicine consultations — video, audio and chat — are conducted through the MyMedicalBank mobile app, available free on iOS and Android. This website provides information and booking guidance, but the consultation itself happens in the app. You can also book via WhatsApp if you prefer.

How much does an online consultation cost? ▾

Standard GP consultations start from ₦2,000 per session. Specialist consultations are priced from ₦5,000 depending on the specialty. There are no subscription fees — you only pay when you book a session.

Are the doctors qualified and verified? ▾

Yes. Every doctor on the platform is a fully licensed Nigerian doctor registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN). All credentials are verified before doctors are listed.

Can I get a prescription online? ▾

Yes. If your doctor determines that medication is appropriate, they will issue an e-prescription sent digitally to a pharmacy of your choice. Prescriptions are also saved to your Personal Health Record in the app.

What types of conditions can be treated online? ▾

Telemedicine is suitable for many common conditions including fever, cough, infections, skin conditions, mental health concerns, chronic disease management (diabetes, hypertension), prescription renewals and test result reviews. Emergency situations (chest pain, stroke, severe trauma) should be treated in person or via emergency services.
